4th of July Treats & Sweets

Hellooo, July! July 4th is finally falling on a Saturday, so there is no reason not to have the cutest, most festive little snacks and treats for your (socially distant) Independence Day activities!! We turned to our BFF, Pinterest, to find the best snacks and sweet treats in the old faithful red, white and blue color scheme. Hosting a little get together at home? Heading out on the lake with friends? These treats will be a hit anywhere this weekend!

Nothing is quite as refreshing on a hot summer day than chilled fruit! Take it easy and make this adorable snack spread for everyone to enjoy! All you need is blueberries, strawberries, and chocolate covered pretzels! Cut the strawberries however you wish and then start forming them into a wide row at the top of your serving dish. Next, add a row of pretzels, then repeat the pattern until your dish is full. Add a bowl or heap of blueberries to the top left corner and you have yourself an American Flag fruit and pretzel tray! So cute and soooo simple!

Charcuterie boards are all the rage these days when it comes to making a snack spread, so if you are wanting to wow your guests, try out your hand at making a patriotic board! Head to the grocery store and buy up everything red, white and blue that could go on your board and then slice and dice to your liking. Arrange everything in an effortlessly perfect way and you have yourself a cheese board! This one used a star-shaped cookie cutter to add a little spark!!

Cookies are always a crowd favorite, and are the easiest to serve when you are out by the lake or having a cookout at home! We found the cutest cookie bars with a pop of red, white and blue! Mix up your cookie dough, throw in a bag of red, white and blue M&Ms and bake in a sheet pan. Once they cool, cut them into squares and you have yourself some adorable, tasty cookies!
