Jovani It Girl Taking Center Stage
Since the launch of the Jovani It Girl contest three years ago, Jovani has had over ten thousand girls submit entries. Initially, the contest began as a way to introduce the Jovani prom collection to shoppers first hand. With the outstanding participation the contest has now been added to additional Jovani collections including homecoming. Jovani it Girls winners have the opportunity to model at fashion shows, participate in photo shoots, and participate in video campaigns while earning scholarships and Jovani dresses. The Jovani It Girl contest has created opportunities for girls across the world to become a representative of this world renowned brand while traveling the nation and making lifelong friendships.
This year at Formal Fashion Week, presented by International Prom Association, held at Americas-Mart Atlanta, Jovani It Girls made an impact on the atmosphere in the Jovani showroom. Jovani invited seventy-five of the Jovani It Girl semi-finalists to provide retailers with a lively, hands on view of the Jovani prom and homecoming line. This allowed each Jovani It Girl to incorporate their own style and spirit into the Jovani runway shows. This also contributed to the “Party In Jovani!” theme for prom 2018. For over thirty years, the Jovani brand has slayed runways, red carpets, and proms. Now, the Jovani It Girls plan to take center stage and increase the brand’s growing number of followers! With head designer Julie DuRocher’s innovative, and glamorous designs leading the way, the sky’s the limit for the Jovani It Girls.
