Here are our top 3 tips for the perfect summer skin! Number one, drink water!! I know we are in vacation mode, but a few bottles of water can make all the difference! You’ll be amazed at the results! Water is great for your body and digestive system, but the results of your skin are even better! Drinking plenty of water will help hydrate your skin, get rid of those pesky blemishes, and give you an overall glow! Simple as that! Number two, exfoliating is key! Exfoliating can keep you from peeling after a sunburn, keep your pores from clogging up with dirt, and get rid of your dead skin that is still lingering. What’s the best way to exfoliate? Sugar scrub! Sugar scrubs are all the rage right now and let me tell ya, it works! You can buy sugar scrubs at beauty stores, or supermarkets, or you can make them at home! Here’s a little DIY for you: the base of sugar scrubs is sugar of course, so one cup of brown or white sugar; ¼ cup of oil, (almond, olive, or coconut oil) I prefer coconut, but whatever you have will work! And then you can customize the rest of the ingredients for specific issues, like dry skin, stretch marks, cellulite, there’s a scrub for everything! Just Pinterest it! Lastly, wear sunscreen and moisturize! We all love a good tan, but your skin is the only skin you get, so take care of it. Wearing sunscreen will still allow you to get a little tan, but it will protect you from those harmful rays. After everything else, moisturize!
