Stand out from the Crowd in a Val Stefani Gown
Val Stefani has released one of the most diverse collections we have seen this season. From fancy florals to magnificent mermaids, and cool chiffon to beautiful ballgowns-- they’ve got any style you can dream up. One of our favorite styles in the Val Stefani collection has flown under the radar recently. The high-low trend was so popular for a brief time, but faded out just as quickly as it began. However, we’re thrilled that it’s making a comeback this season!! High-low is the perfect way to add a little fun to a plain dress, not to mention it keeps you feeling free on the dance floor!
Style 3226RT is a beautiful high-low that is super trendy with a floral pattern. The red rose pattern covers the black mikado bodice, and it is tied together with a red stone belt at the waistline. The skirt is cut above the knee and flares out to a train in the back, giving it a ballgown feel; it’s all the glamour of a ballgown without getting tangled in tulle! The scoop neck and thick straps are sure to keep you comfortable while you dance the night away!
Another one of our favorites is style 3231RE. It is a cocktail dress with a fun chiffon layer over top! The neckline is a unique strappy halter, and the entire bodice is fully beaded with intricate designs that compliment the gown, which comes in either forest green or bright red. The short cocktail layer underneath is a stretchy jersey, and the overlay is made up of two separate pieces of chiffon. The flowy fabric will be a hit while you’re twirling around, and just imagine the amazing pictures you will be able to capture!
Style 3262RK is definitely one of the most glamorous of Val Stefani’s gowns. This gown gives off old Hollywood vibes while staying on trend with an illusion bottom. While it is not necessarily a high-low this gown has the same feel a cocktail cut to the knee, but a mesh layer that reaches to the floor and forms a train. Beading covers the bodice to the knee until the mesh begins, and lines of beading blend the mesh layer to the top of the gown. The v-neck cut and side cutouts are ultra flattering, and the champagne and silver color options are great for any skin tone!
We are so glad that the high-low style is back! If you haven’t tried one on yet, get to your local prom retailer and check them out!
