Bold and beautiful! Two words that perfectly fit the essence of the Red Carpet on Oscars night. Last night was the annual Oscar Awards that everyone is always raving for! The star-studded Red Carpet, monumental awards, and of course, the epic fashion show that occurs on upon arrival. The stars were not playing any games at this year’s Oscars Awards; they all looked stunning in their trend-setting outfits. While the ladies were slaying the fashion game, the men were bringing the heat in trend setting tuxedo styles. One of our very favorites was Nicole Kidman. Her captivating royal gown was strapless and sweetheart, with a high middle slit and bold details that look like a bow on the front. Her dress was sleek and relatively simple, but the fabric and fit made it unbeatable! Not to mention, this royal hue looks absolutely stunning on her, as most things do! Emma Stone was another stand-out star on the Red Carpet yesterday. Emma Stone wore a silky, color-blocked pant suit that had a deep v-neckline and was complete with a tied belt. The silk belt gives the dress a gorgeous pop of color and the hot pink looks stunning on the burgundy blazer. Emma Stone’s look was fresh and she looked absolutely perfect! She paired her pantsuit was paired with simple heels, and a simple straight hair style. Emma Stone totally killed it on the carpet! While most people focus their fashion excitement on the ladies, they cannot forget about the men. The men on the Red Carpet were bringing their a-game at this year’s Oscars awards. We have seen velvet as a huge trend in the formal industry this year, and now it’s making its way onto the Red Carpet. World famous actor, Armie Hammer, made his way down the Red Carpet in a burgundy velvet suit, with a white shirt, black bowtie and black shoes. His outfit blew us away! We are so used to seeing the classic black tuxedo (which we love), but it was so intriguing to watch the men’s fashion game change! Velvet also made appearances on Ansel Elgort, among many others! The rise of navy suits skyrocketed a few years ago and is still very popular in the world of formal fashion. Lakeith Stanfield graced the carpet in a perfectly tailored navy suit with a black silk lapel. He accessorized his tuxedo with a white shirt, black bowtie and black shoes. Whoever said you cannot wear black and navy was seriously disturbed! Black and navy are normally a no-go if you are wearing them together, but in this case, Lakeith Stanfield absolutely killed it! The Oscars, like most other award shows are all about the fashion! The Red Carpet is where new trends are born, old trends are revived, and the stars absolutely slay the game. Every star at the show last night looked perfect! We were so impressed with all of the fabulous trends and looks that we witnessed; we cannot wait for the next Red Carpet event.
