Happy New Year!! 2020 has officially kicked off and we hope you all had the best NYE and New Year’s Day! This time of year always brings a lot of new things, new goals, new plans and most of all, a fresh start! New Year’s resolutions get a bad rep most of the time, but they are meant to be a positive thing! So, what are you hoping to change this year? Whether it is to exercise more, drink more water, kick a bad habit, or anything else, it is important to try to stick to it because you are doing it for yourself! Your resolutions or goals may be tough to stand by at times, but always remember why you started it in the first place! One important goal that a lot of people forget about is self care. Sometimes it is easy to get wrapped up in the stress of everyday life. Balancing school, extra curricular activities, sports, a job, or anything else can be so tough! But, in the midst of the hustle and bustle, it is so important to take a step back and relax every now and then! Take a bubble bath, do a face mask, curl up and drink some hot cocoa, whatever your heart desires, just take care of yourself! You deserve a little pampering every now and then! While we are on the subject, writing down your plans, intentions and hopes for 2020 can be a great way to kick start your goals and set the train in motion. Jot down what you hope to have more of this year, and even jot down some that you hope to have less of this year. Written down reminders can hold you accountable throughout the year! After all, it is a new year, new decade, and time for us to work towards our goals. No matter how big or small your goals are, you got this! 2020 is YOUR year!
