Ideas for Fall Fun
It’s finally fall and we could not be more thrilled! The first official day of autumn was last Saturday, but we’ve been feeling all the fall feelings for a while now. Summer is great, but there’s something about the coziness of fall that really can’t be beat! Now that the chilly weather is moving in, you’re going to need to find some new activities other than laying by the pool all day long. So, grab your oversized sweater and try out some of these fun fall ideas!
Iced coffee is all the rage, but with new seasons comes sweet new drinks! Instead of rushing through the line and grabbing your coffee to go, cut out some time in your schedule to sit down and enjoy a warm drink at your local coffee shop. You can go alone and work on some homework in a chill environment, or plan a coffee date with some of your girls and catch up over a pumpkin spiced latte!
Changing leaves are one of the best parts of fall. The reds and yellows are absolutely gorgeous but they only last for a little while, so get outside and see them while you can! A great way to experience the changing leaves and take advantage of the cooler weather is to go on a bike ride or hike at your local park. A Saturday afternoon outside will help you unwind, enjoy the changing nature, and count as your cardio for the day! Plus, you won’t be able to get outside and do things like this in the winter, so call up some of your friends and tell them you have weekend plans together!
Carving pumpkins is an autumn tradition and also the perfect date idea! Grab your guy and make your way to the pumpkin patch this weekend. You can spend time together picking a pumpkin for each other and posing for tons of photo ops. When you get home, let him know that you’re having a pumpkin carving contest! Give the carving a time limit and post the completed jack-o-lanterns on social media to let your friends vote for their favorite- loser buys dinner!
